How do I turn on Health Tracking?
First, go to the Care Hub, and go to health data. You’ll need to make sure you have allowed the app to access your health data if you’d like to share that with your family.
To start, go to the Health section, and click on each of the pinned metrics (Heart Rate, Steps, and Sleep). Scroll down to Data source, and click "sync from my device". Then, select your health provider (Fitbit, HealthKit, Google Fit) From here, follow the prompts your app asks you.
iOS
Note: These settings will only work on iPhones, and not iPads, as Apple has not created health software for iPad.
If you have an iPhone, clicking “sync from my device" should grant the app sufficient access.
If you’re not seeing everything you need (heart rate, sleep, steps) go into your Apple Settings , scroll down to Health Click on Data Access & Devices. Click on Avanlee, and verify all categories are enabled.
Fitbit
Fitbit works with iOS and Android devices, as well as iPads. To start, go to the Health section and select the metric you want to add data for. Scroll to the bottom, and click "Sync from my device". Then, select your health provider (Fitbit) From here, log into your Fitbit account, and grant the app access to your health information.
Google Fit
If you have an Android, after clicking “Sync from my Device, follow the prompts on the page and sign into your Google Fit account. If you don’t have a Google Fit account, download the app from the Play Store and create your account. Once your account is created, click on the email address from the list of options to authenticate your health access.
Smart Watches
If you have a Garmin, Suunto or Samsung watch, you'll need to download the appropriate app (FittoFit, Garmin Connect, Suunto, or Health Sync) to enable permissions for Avanlee to access your health data.
