Avanlee makes it easy to interact with your loved ones! Through posts, chat, video and voice calling and mood updates for care receivers, you can check in with your family easily!
How do I make a post? What about interacting with posts?
To make a new post, click on the Plus Sign in the lower right corner of the home page. Enter your message, and upload your photo or video if you choose, and click Add.
To interact with posts, you can like or comment. To like, click the heart underneath the post. To comment, click the comment icon .
How do I chat with my family members?
For chat, voice, and video calling, navigate to the chat icon. . To start a new conversation, click on the New Conversation icon, and select the user you want to chat with. Or, create a new group with multiple people. Once you’ve selected who you want to chat with, get talking! You can insert a photo or video in your message. To send your message, click send .
How do Voice Calling and Video Calling work?
It’s easy to stay in touch with your family with built-in voice and video calling in Avanlee. To voice or video call, simply click the New Conversation icon and select the user you want to call. Then, click or to call your loved one. The voice call will function through your device’s native calling service, so it will act the same as a normal phone call. Video chat will open in the chat window, and you can mute yourself or turn your camera on or off depending on what you need. Just hit the mute button to mute yourself , or click the camera to turn your camera on or off .
What are mood updates? What do they mean?
If you’re a care receiver, you can update your mood to let your family know how you’re feeling. First, click on the Health page , and select how you feel today from the moods.
If you want to talk about it, click yes, and you can create a post or send a chat from there. Your caregiver can then view your mood from the Summary Page.
