If you would like to remove a paid subscription from your family, we've made it simple to update.
There are a few reasons that you might need to remove a family from your subscription:
- You have a paid subscription with all family slots occupied.
- You want to stay in the current family but you don’t want it to take up that slot in your subscription.
You can remove a family from your subscription (then, someone else from the family will have to take ownership) allowing you to remain an active member of the family but also create or take over another family and give it your subscription benefits.
To Remove the Subscription:
First, navigate to the main menu , and click on Manage Your Family.
From the Manage Your Family page, if you’re the subscription holder, when you click on your profile picture, it will take you to the page to remove the family from your subscription.
When you do, the family subscription will be removed, and anyone signing in will be promoted that the subscription must be taken over in order for the family to become accessible.
